Personally I liked its realistic take on the Superman mythos, but can understand why some Superman. By means of the narrative and the characters in Man of Steel, the writers reveal which concepts and values they think is preferable and most viable to be lived out. To make a long story short, I really enjoyed it. The new 'Man of Steel' trailer opens similarly to the viral video released a few weeks ago in which General Zod (Michael Shannon), Kryptons most notorious war criminal, urges the people of Earth. Lets sum it up per character attribute, scale of 1 to 10, 10 as the highest. She may last a couple of rounds of sparring with WW but if she’s caught by the lasso it’s game over for her. There is no way she could defeat a skilled goddess. We had a fun time waiting in line together, just listen to the podcast we recorded whilst doing so, and discussing the things we were looking forward to and expecting. Interestingly, Faora-Ul is referred to as an 'alien Amazon' in the Man of Steel: The Official Movie Novelization. We reported two weeks ago that Faora would be the female villain, a character from the comic books that was used as the basis for Ursa in Superman II. Faora-Ul is the first fellow living Kryptonian that Superman meets as an adult, as well as the first enemy that he ever engages in a straight-up physical fight. German actress Antje Traue ( Pandorum) had landed the female villain role of Faora in Man of Steel for Warner Bros. With the news that Snyder is producing Wonder Woman 2 and rumours he’s involved in the Flash movie, perhaps he’s not as outcast by the new Warner Bros brass as he seemingly was by the old.The German actress will play the female villain alongside Michael Shannon's General Zod in Zack Snyder's superhero adventure. Could we eventually see her perhaps in the Legion of Doom? Maybe going up against Wonder Woman?

The one who hammered Superman in the Smallville battle (below)? Remember in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Lex Luther wanted to create a weapon to kill Kryptonians because he feared that someday they would come up against others that were hostile? Well, it seems one was there all along.
